My name is Emily Vork Young.

I am a FertilityCare Practitioner and FEMM Teacher-in-Training with a passion for femininity and body literacy.

I have previous non-profit experience working as a Chastity Education Manager at a local pregnancy center. Through that unique opportunity, I was able to meet women where they were in the brokenness of our world. So many women have suffered because of a lack of understanding of their worth, their dignity, and their very bodies! I started my journey in instructing women on their fertility as a result and found that so many single women are excluded from the conversation on fertility education and suffer because of it. We, as women, have a right to the knowledge of our identity--body and soul--and New Eve wants to make that knowledge common.

I once told my husband after an Introductory Session for prospective clients that if I heard one more woman ask why no one ever talked about female fertility, I was going to have to do something about it. Well, one more woman asked, and the fire beneath New Eve was lit. Through months of prayerful discernment, late nights working after babies went to bed, and a lot of help from some very talented people, New Eve came to be the apostolate that she is today.

On behalf of New Eve, I want to thank you for your support, prayers, and encouragement as we all go on mission together to bring women to an encounter with Christ through the truth, beauty, and goodness of their femininity. Mary, the New Eve, pray for us!

My name is Abby Schmid.

I am a FEMM Teacher-in-Training with a heart for evangelization.

I have served on the New Eve Board of Directors since the beginning and am delighted to be serving New Eve as the Director of Retreats and Outreach.

I grew up in Dayton, Ohio and have worked in youth and young adult ministry for several years before finding my way to this position. I have been living in a young adult community and have witnessed my own life and the lives of the women I’ve lived with transformed by the power of learning body literacy in the context of prayer and community. In my last few years as a full time youth minister, the Lord highlighted to me a particular calling of helping women discover the security of their identity as daughters of God and how to live in that freedom and authority. I am passionate and excited to be on mission with this organization that meets such an important need in our world today!
